Scientists working with Iraq war veterans say that a combination of
a new virtual reality therapy and medications may help ease
post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). The virtual reality
treatment uses a helmet and headphones to expose PTSD patients to
reenactments of sights, sounds, smells, and movements from their
