A new book claims that daily, vigorous exercise can help people with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder focus and concentrate more easily. The Harvard psychiatrist who wrote Spark: The Revolutionary New Science of Exercise and the Brain says that studies show physical activity may increase the production of cells in the region of the brain involved in learning and memory. He also said that people who exercise regularly are better able to deal with stress than sedentary people.
