Adults in treatment for severe mental disorders have experienced
greater levels of childhood stress than adults who don't have
psychiatric disorders, German researchers have found. In a recent
study, scientists compared lifetime stress levels among 96 adults
with major depression, schizophrenia, drug addiction, or
personality disorder and 31 non-psychiatric adults. The researchers
