Bring your own lunch. So often, we go out to lunch at work and end up choosing unhealthy fast food, not realizing this food can actually increase our feelings of stress throughout the afternoon. Bringing your own healthy lunch to work can increase focus and calmness during the workday.

If you must have caffeine, do not drink coffee or consume caffeine after 2:00 P.M. Caffeine can cause you to have trouble sleeping and limiting the amount you have in the afternoon can help you sleep better at night.

Don’t skip meals. Make sure you eat a healthy breakfast and eat three meals per day to keep your blood sugar balanced throughout the day.
