Advances in medical technology have saved the lives of many soldiers returning from Iraq, but some veterans' injuries have left them completely disabled, and that's putting a new burden on their caregivers. Many caretakers—some of them very young—have quit their jobs in order to be able to take care of their loved-ones full-time. Now, some veterans' advocates and caretakers are asking the government to pay them for their time.
