Workplace stress peaks at 50, declines after age 55

Researchers at the University of Nottingham have found that workplace stress appears to peak in a person's early 50s, but then it declines after age 55. The scientists reported that workplace stress could fall after age 55 for several reasons, including people taking early retirement, gaining seniority that offers more control over their work, or opting for a less-stressful position.  Read full story >
