    Hi Myth,

This is Krystle, producer for MyAsthmaCentral.com. I hope things are going well in your quest to quit cigarettes! In the meantime, I wanted to let you know about a new site we launched to help smokers quit. Check it out here.

As always, good luck and let me know if there's anything I can do to help!

    Hi Myth,

Quitting smoking can be the hardest thing to try to do. I know from personal experience when my significant other tried, it was darned near impossible!! He was able to quit after smoking for 40 years, with the help of Wellbutrin. Check with your doctor to see if that might help you. You take wellbutrin for 2 weeks while you continue to smoke like normal. Then you quit cold turkey, but you continue to take the wellbutrin for 2 more weeks. It replaces the nicotine in your body making the cravings and withdrawl less difficult.

Also, check out the site Krystle mentioned in her posting. It is located here. There is much good information there to help you ask all the right questions of your doctor.

Hope this helps a little. Stay in touch and let us know how you are doing!
