I would like to know why it is so hard to get the Dr. to prescribe more than 1 fast acting inhaler at a time! UGH!! I ask for more than one to keep them in 3 different areas to keep me going & it seems to be a battle between telling me to say something to the Dr. & say something to the Pharmacy! (I have been told by the Dr. to say something to the Pharmacy & vice versa) It drives me bonkers! I have the nebulizer that is portable but sometimes I would just rather use the inhaler instead!
I don't think it's to much to ask.
Another problem I've had is with my nebulizer meds. My prescription says to use the nebulizer every 3 hours as needed. If you have an extended period of poor control you might use it 4 or 5 times a day. It would require 120-150 doses of medication in a 30 day period at this rate. the pharmacy gives me 60 doses. I don't understand that at all.
