I haven't seen anything specific about short term memory loss being attributed to COPD, however there have been members online here who have mentioned it. One string by Lflugel here, has a discussion about short term memory loss among other things. If you want to read about the medications that are prescribed for Asthma, you can check out the drugs database here. Dr Fred Little has an article about fast acting inhalers prescribed for asthma and COPD. You can read that here.
