So very interesting! Thanks for the info. I have not been diagnosed with asthma - but have often wondered if alcohol triggered asthma. Any time I have an alcoholic drink (typically just beer) I get a cough that sounds like the asthma cough a friend of mine has. I also get really bad headaches from drinking even just a little. I usually feel the discomfort is not worth it - so I don't drink alcoholic beverages very often.

I have suffered ashma for many years. Lately it was getting worse and I had to use pulmicort regularly at night and in the morning. Last week, doc found an incipient fatty liver so he prohibited any alcohol intake as it was the cause of it; I used to drink 2 beer cans or a couple of wine glasses dayly. Guess what, three days ago I could stop pulmicort and didn't need Ventolin. Today I could even stand one hour of tennis without any help! Amazing. It has to be the alcohol.
