This technique does work. I use it myself. This time of year I rely on my rescue inhaler alot. When I do end up in the hospital or doctor's office, they are amazed at how calm I am. I use my training to help me. I once drove my boss's car back to work in the middle of a terrible attack. During my pregnancy, my asthma was really bad but I would envision taking deep breaths and forcing them into my babys lungs. I knew it wasnt possible but it made me feel better. I hope your advice help other sufferers because its really the best way to make it through an asthma attack. I enjoyed your article very much.
