About Me

Rick Frea (RRT) is a licensed and Registered Respiratory Therapist with 12 years experience working with asthmatics and others who have breathing troubles. Not only that, he was diagnosed with chronic asthma as a child and it did not go away as his doctor's promised when he became an adult. Thus, even before he was an RT, he was forced to become an asthma expert.

In october 2008 he started the blog Respiratory Therapy Cave, where he shares his personal experiences with asthma and professional experiences working with asthmatics and other victims of breathing trouble.

Rick also has an associate's degree in journalism and a bachelor's degree in advertising.
