I sometimes use Primatene because the prescribed albuteral inhaler is too expensive.  When I can afford it, I get the prescription.  Right now I am in the "donut hole", so it's all Primatene.  When will be ever get these prices right?

I'm in the same boat. I go through them very fast too, because I know I need to be on prescription.

For those of us with no health insurance, and limited incomes, otc asthma inhalers are all we have - thanks for thinking about us, and discontinuing them......way to go.

albuterol really didnt help and caused other issues with heart. i was on oxygen but lung dr wouldnt sign paper. so now i have nothing, hope he knows if anything happens ,hes responsible and hope someone holds him responsible.  i was in grocery store looking for primetene but must looked in wrong aisle.
