It's terrible all that you have had to go through. More than anyone, your doctors should understand your situation and take you seriously when you complain. It can be downright dangerous not to. Good luck and feel better.

I'm so sorry for your rotten experience.  Been there, done that.  More times than I care to count, since I've had asthma all my life.  But I recently switched to a pulmonary specialist, who not only listened, asked all the appropriate questions, but also did gazillions of tests (breathing and a blood allergy test) no one else has ever done.

We kept some meds, changed others, and although it was a really tiring day, for the first time in a long while I'm really hopeful.

    Allergies & asthma too!

I am 53, have had allergies all of my life, asthma for most of my life.

We have water in our basement ( for up to 3 and 4 weeks at a time ) when there is excess rain.

Mold had developed under and behind all kinds of things. So far we have gotten an expensive air filter and an expensive dehumidifier.

And hopefully work is going to be done to keep the water out of or " under control " so the mold will not grow.

I was diagnosed with broncitus and an infect ( deep down near where your broncial tubes go into your lungs ).

With asthma & mold allergies you can have horrible tightness in your chest.

They are very real symtoms, you just have to complain enough for the to take you seriously!
