Methacholine challenge proved Occupational Asthma, after 1 yr Xolair treatment....

By ets Friday, March 09, 2007
In 2004 I was diaginosed with Occupational Asthma, after a Methacholine challenge. After all other treatments failed I elected to give Xolair injections a try. After a year of injections the Asthma was much more controlled. Fewer attacks, and easier to get under control. Needless to say, I also made many lifestyle changes to adjust to life with asthma. My most recent Methacholine challenge was borderline, 19% drop; with a new diagnosis of Reactive Airway disease. Labor & Industries is now demanding repayment of all benefits paid and I am still unable to work.
