The scare of the century

By OhMyGuard Friday, June 08, 2007
One of my friends, Gavi, was missing for a while last night. I got a call from another friend, unable to help, which only made things worse for me. I went to bed around 11:30 and got up 10 minutes later, unable to sleep, but got back in bed 5 minutes after that, started crying my eyes out from the anxiety...and had an asthma attack a minute later. It was BAD. Thank God I carry my FloVent inhaler in my purse, so it was there in my room when I needed it. My friend, I learned earlier today, arrived back at her house at around 1:00 am...but that didn't make the night before anywhere near easier.

Flovent isn't a quick relief medication and should not be used to stop an asthma attack.

I didn't take it to stop it. Actually, it was over rather quickly. I took the Flovent to prevent anything else from happening.

Ok! Just making sure!
