Hi-
I have had Asthma since March of this year. I had the Flu for 5 days and I am wondering if that could have caused it? I have ben told I have Enviornmental Asthma. I would love to write to people who have this type of Asthma.
will not write to people who are in Jail or seeking marriage proposals.
Thanks

I have adult asthma and have had it for over 30 years. It took me some time before I could really accept what I had and take the medication I needed to, but eventually after going into cardiac arrest, I got the picture...duh!
I am on a drug management program that includes theophylline, advair, singular and claritin, as well as albuterol and rhinocort. My asthma is triggered by all kinds of things like grass, weeds, trees, pollen, smoke, pet dander, wool, dust and dust mites, etc....but I'm am now happy to say that I lead a normal(?) life as long as I stay on my regimen. I now can walk over 2 miles, bike ride and do anything I really want, I feel blessed to have found a physician who personally knew asthma himself and knew exactly what I was talking about. Also living in Florida with clean air has helped me tremendously...I never thought about it, but since I moved here 13 years ago I do not have anymore migrane headaches either.
Hi Again-
Thanks for writing me! I take Symbicort and Singulair for my Asthma. My rescue inhailer is ProAir/Albuterol Sulfate.
I have to be very careful because I also have a Seizure condition. So I have to make sure that all the meds work together. Living with Asthma isn't too hard right now but we will see.
