I love listening to music. Classical is awesome, especially Tchaikovsky's 5th Symphony. My sister used to play viola in the UCF Orchestra (where she goes to college) and my family and I always went to her concerts.

Well, she's going to become a journalism major, and her professor eats up all her time. She wasn't able to go on with them anymore.
You like cello too? I used to play before I joined guard to get away from that tyrant of an orchestra director we had...

Gasp! You don't know?
We're a group of performers that march in parades and halftme shows with the band. In the winter, we go off and do our own thing. We spin flags, rifles, and (if we're lucky) sabres while marching drill. Here's a video clip of my band performing the third movement of our show from the 2007 Marching season. Watch for the colored blips. That's the guard.

It's a lot of fun. You instantly gain about 200 new friends in the band. It's a lot of time and hard work, but it's definitely worth it.
