Well, this would be a great article if I could read the rest of it!  Extremely irratating when only the first 2-1/2 sentences come up.  I've tried several times and nothing more is available.  I'd like to know the answer!

oh jeez! you're right. i've sent this on to the site producer for assistance. but essentially throw them away. make the transition to the new hfa's and talk with your doctor about your asthma plan!

Thanks for writing this article, but what exactly will go wrong if you use an expired inhaler?

The official answer is not to use it, but if you're having an asthma attack, does that advice still hold?  Is it better to go to an emergency room than to use an expired inhaler once?

 

Just being told "don't use expired inhalers" is less than totally helpful, without knowing WHY we shouldn't.
