i have a 19month old little boy who has chronic lung disease due to being born prematurely @25weeks,he has constantly battled with wheezing since he came off oxygen at 9 months old! he was recently still on a high dosage of inhalers having them 4 hourly throughout the daytime. my parents and inlaws told me of the tv documentary several weeks ago, so i thought why not give it a go!! after two days of drinking apple juice i noticed a massive improvement, he wasn't wheezing, and so far we havn't looked back, i have been able to cut out a whole dosage of inhalers and will continue to do so in the near future. i feel very confident that this has has a massive impact to my sons health, and as noted it can't do any harm drinking apple juice can it??

Wow, Mrs. Thomas... That is AMAZING news! It's really interesting to hear a real world experience with this. Congratulations. My only precaution is to be sure you're discussing your dosage changes with your boy's doctor. Also, though apple juice is certainly not harmful in any way, fruit juice does contain calories, so I'd want to avoid massive amounts, particularly in a young child who is still establishing fat cells. And of course, drinking a lot of apple juice might also lead to loose bowel movements. But having said all that, I'm sure it's a huge relief to see your son doing so well!
