You're more than welcome! Glad you found it helpful... and you're never too old for asthma. More and more senior citizens are being diagnosed with asthma these days, perhaps due to environmental factors.

Dear Kathi MacNaughton,

I've enjoyed reading your helpful post on this subject. What a wonderful way of making sense of this condition and being helpful to others with a reasonable 10 step plan. If I may, I would like to make a suggestion both to you and your readers. Many whom suffer from asthma and other respiratory illnesses turn immediately to medications, inhalors and other drugs or treatments for relief. There's something that goes fairly well with your 10 way of improving your life or just to improve your asthma and allergies, it's called Halotherapy, also known as Salt therapy. Salt room therapy is an innovative, holistic treatment that recreates the therapeutic microclimate of salt caves, and has been clinically proven to alleviate symptoms of asthma, bronchitis, chronic ENT illnesses, eczema, smoker's cough and a host of other respiratory ailments. Halotherapy is 100% natural, safe and drug-free.

I hope this information will help you and others to a new way of life. For more information please visit http://saltchalet.blogspot.com/

With thanks and hopes of helping,
Lynn.

Hi Lynn, Thanks for your comments on this post. And funny you should mention halotherapy. I have just done a post over on the Allergies site on that very topic. It hasn't gone live yet, but should do so within the next week or so. So be sure to look for it. When it goes live, I'll come back here and post the link. And it's something I'm going to be trying too. I just ordered myself a Himalayan salt pipe, so I'll also be reporting on my experiences with it. Meanwhile, I'll check out your blog on the subject...
