My daughter just had a virus and had a lingering cough and wheezing.  We seen a pulmonologist and she has a type of asthma that she should grow out of.  Never has shortness of breath or coughs that keep her up like you would think.

Well, that's the thing about the human body that makes it so difficult to diagnose and treat sometimes. Everyone is different, and though there are common patterns of symptoms among people who have a disease or condition, there can be differences too. But I'm glad your doctor identified what's going on with your child, so you can get the care you need.
