FDA Update on Singulair Concludes No Association with Suicide or Suicidal behavior
The FDA issued an update on 1/13/09 regarding their saftey review of Singulair. They stated that they reviewed data from 41 placebo-controlled trials with almost 18,000 patients and there was one adult patient (o.o1%) out of 9929 patients treated with Singulair who had suicidal thoughts and there were NO suicides.
