Why don't they believe me?

The difference between asthma and emphysema?

I have been diagnosed with emphysema. I am a non smoker, have never been. Which of the two diseases is worse, and will my emphysema become asthma? Thank you Alan

More than 1 inhaler

I would like to know why it is so hard to get the Dr. to prescribe more than 1 fast acting inhaler at a time! UGH!! I ask for more than one to keep them in 3 different areas to keep me going & it seems to be a battle between telling me to say something to the Dr. & say something to the Pharmacy! Methacholine challenge proved Occupational Asthma, after 1 yr Xolair treatment....

In 2004 I was diaginosed with Occupational Asthma, after a Methacholine challenge. After all other treatments failed I elected to give Xolair injections a try. After a year of injections the Asthma was much more controlled. Fewer attacks, and easier to get under control. Exercise-Induced Asthma?
