Hi there,
Great question! There could be a couple of reasons. First, taking it in the evening will allow it to reach full effectiveness during the night and early AM hours, when asthma symptoms are often the worst. Second, Singulair is often used in conjunction with other medication, much of which might be taken in the morning. It could be a way of spacing the medicine out over the course of a day.
For more information, talk with your physician or pharmacist.
Best,
Kathi
