I was diagnosed with Transverse Myletisis in '99. I am currently taking Gabapentin (300mg 4Xday). I guess after 9 years that the nerves have regenerated as much as they are going to and I am physically now as good as I am going to get. I mean I really don't see getting back to full health ever again. I am exercising on a three day per week program at the gym and I am eating healthier. I am resting when I get tired, but I want to know if there is anything on the horizon that might help me just a little bit. My right leg (maybe 10% functional) wakes me up in the middle of the night with cramps and stiffness. Sometimes, I can go back to sleep, but not always.
I am sorry that I am going on and on. Thanks for your time.
