Does Medrol work for Transverse Myletisis? Thanks for your time.

I was diagnosed with Transverse Myletisis in '99. I am currently taking Gabapentin (300mg 4Xday). I guess after 9 years that the nerves have regenerated as much as they are going to and I am physically now as good as I am going to get. I mean I really don't see getting back to full health ever…
