Hi Becky,   I think it's more likely that the "film" you're seeing over your eyes is due to the infection you have. But your best bet is to contact your eye doctor right away and get it evaluated. You don't want to let eye symptoms go, because of the potential for permanent damage to your vision. Get it checked out!   Best, Kathi MacNaughton
