Hello, I had the same thing and was sick like that for 2 months. Did the rounds of anitbiotics, and steroids.  Every other day I was at  my doctors getting another treatment.  I had never had anything like this before, I thought I'd never get well, but I did.  Finally my doctor put me on flovent 110mcg, 2 puffs twice a day.  It took about a week before the ashsma was under control so I had to go for the breathing treatments inbetween but it worked.  The flovent keeps the inflammation down.  I also have Proventill but I only use it in an emergency now.  I also purchased an air purifier and it helps alot also.  Good luck!  You will get well soon.
