Q: What are two different and relatively inexpensive alternatives for Flovent?

I will be enrolled in a medicare private drug insurance plan and cannot affort the Flovent. Current Flovent Inhaler is HFA inh 10.6g

Well, I've never used Flovent, but instead have used QVAR (http://www.medkb.com/Uwe/Forum.aspx/asthma/601/Switching-QVAR-to-Flovent).  I don't know whether QVAR will be any cheaper, though. 

I've also had good luck with Beclazone (http://www.inhousepharmacy.biz/asthma-allergy/beclazone.html), but since this is from a foreign pharmacy (New Zealand-sourced, but manufactured in Ireland), I don't know whether your medical plan will pay for it. 

Keep in mind that QVAR inhalers have 100 puffs/canister, whereas Beclazone inhalers have 200 puffs/canister.
