Hello,

If what you have is truly hives, then it could be that you are having an allergic reaction. It's important to understand, though, that skin breakouts can come from many causes and it can be difficult to distinguish an allergic skin reaction from other skin rashes.

If it IS hives, though, that doesn't mean it is definitely from the Asmanex, though it could be. People can have allergic reactions to just about any medication, theoretically. However, I would never advise you to just stop taking the medicine without first talking with your doctor. Discuss your concerns with him/her and together you can come up with the right plan of action for you.

To your health,

Kathi
