how long does an asthma attack last

I am not sure that what this is is asthma but I have these times when I cannot breath and I must try to force air into my nose. I am terrified during these attacks. The noise I make trying to breath is awful. I am usually wet with perspiration when I can finally breath again . I am afraid that...
