Foracort is a medicine meant to prevent you from having an asthma attack.  It should never be taken more than twice a day, and there can be serious consequences of using it more often then twice a day.

That said, I think Foracort is a great medicine, but it seems that this med alone is not going to control your asthma.  Perhaps there are certain asthma triggers you are exposed to and can work harder to avoid. Perhaps you need a higher dose of Foracort.  Perhaps there are other meds that may work best for you.  The best way to find out how better to control your asthma is to educate yourself about this disease right here on this site, and by finding a good doctor who will work with you to manage your asthma.

There really is no reason you should have to quit cricket because of your asthma.

While there is no cure for this disease, it can definitely be controlled.

My daughter is 4 yrs old and Dr. of AIIMS confirmed that she is suffering from mild persistent Asthma and advised foracort inhaler 100 twice 2 puff during normal condition and during problem in add. to foracort, 2 puff of Asthalin after every 6 hours. My daughter is taking this for last one month and foracort 100 proves to be wonderful. I advise you to visit AIIMS and contact Dr. S.K. Kabra rather than consulting other doctors. In varanasi my daughter is under treatment of child specialist for last one year and was advised to take Lasma -4 tab ,one tab daily and nebulizer (Budacort), but all these medicines are of no use. So, I think that foracort is best medicine but it should be taken under instruction from Doctor.
