Saturday, February 19, 2011 LLara asks

Q: My mom(74yrs) has asthma and she just finished taking an antibiotic a week ago, she similar symptoms to a sinus infection. Is it possible she as a one? and are there any otc drugs she could take?

Sure, it's very possible that your mom could have a sinus infection. It's something that is often associated with asthma. But in light of her asthma and her age, I would suggest you call her doctor for suggestions on diagnosing and treating her symptoms.
