Q: am I more likely to get pnumonia if I'm an asthma sufferrer

Not necessarily. Any lung infection is more serious in people with asthma your inflamed airways are more susceptible to infection. If you're really concerned, talk to your doctor about it. You may be able to get a vaccine against the bacteria that cause the infection (pneumonia can also be cause by viral infections, but the bacterial pneumonia infections tend to be more severe).
