Q: After the place where I worked changed our floors from rugs to tile my legs and feet started to swell. They are also painful to the touch. Is this caused by standing 8 hrs onconcrete floors?

My medications have not changed - the only change has been to the work place and how we stand on a different kind of flooring.

It's difficult to answer a question like this over the Internet. With your symptoms of both swelling and pain, I would think the best course of action is to contact a doctor to be evaluated. It sounds like it could be an infection of some sort, but as I said, only a doctor who sees you in person and explores your medical history will be able to tell for sure.

Feel better,
