Hi Somia,   A chronic cough could definitely be a symptom of asthma, even in the absence of other symptoms. Your recurrent respiratory infections could be a sign that something is not healthy in your airways. And acid reflux is a fairly common related illness to long-term asthma. BUT... these symptoms are somewhat general and could also be associated with other illnesses.   I'm wondering if you've ever been evaluated by a pulmonologist or allergist? If not, I would highly recommend it. If you have asthma still, it doesn't sound like it is under good control. If it's something else, it should be treated. At any rate, I think a second medical opinion is in order for you. You don't have to just keep suffering!   To your health, Kathi
