i cannot cope with my asthma unless i take steroids. help

my asthma has worsened and the only way i can control it is with steroids i take 5mil a day and although i still cough and wheeze and have very bad sputum, i have tried to reduce to 4mil and 3mil per  day but i could not breathe please help. i also have 3 inhalers.

I'm guessing that when you say you're taking steroids, you mean orally? Because inhaled steroids are the treatment of choice for most people with asthma. It sounds to me like you need to consult with your doctor and get on a new updated treatment plan that will work better for you.

 

Please call your doctor as soon as possible to get this started, OK?
