Tuesday, December 09, 2008 Gabe asks

Q: Is your quiz "Is Your Diet Helping (or Hurting) Your Asthma?" correct?

It seems like the right answers give zero points and gives a failing assessment to one's diet. A bad diet gives points and a commendable rating.

Furthermore, your "questions" are questions but statements. A "True/False" selection would work better than a "Yes/No" selection. I had to take the test several times to figure out what was really going on.

Thanks

Hi Gabe,

Thank you for your question and review.

The quiz statements were written to describe a person's diet habits. So, if the statement is simialr to something you'd say (or something you'd do), then you would select Yes. If it doesn't describe you or your habits, then you would answer No.

Yes, you can well guess which response is best, but the point of the quiz isn't to get the answers right, but  to determine just how your eating habits may be affecting your asthma, so it's best to respond honestly.

You are right about the score tally -- thank you for pointing it out. There was a technical problem and it has been fixed in our system.

Feel free to retake the assessment:
