Hi Nadiaye,   There's no question here, but I can tell you that pain is generally a sign that something is wrong. You don't describe what your asthma attack was like, but if you were doing a lot of coughing, there's a chance you could have pulled a muscle while coughing, or even fractured a rib. It's been known to happen, though both instances are rare.   My advice is to call your doctor to get it checked out. Meanwhile, applying either heat or cold may provide temporary relief. So might taking ibuprofen, if you know that you are able to take that safely.   To your health, Kathi
