Hi John,

I'm sorry to hear you're having such a hard time. I'm not that familiar with the link between Agent Orange and asthma, and an Internet search didn't turn up much information, other than the fact that the link was recently (last few years) confirmed through research.

My advice is for you to seek treatment via a respiratory specialist, called a pulmonologist, if you haven't already. Over time, they should be able to find the right combination of medication for you.

Good luck,

Kathi

Hello.  i am in the same boat as yourself, I was in Vietnam from 1965 to late 1966 in the I corps area  and was sprayed on occasion and exposed to agent orange on the ground countless times...I developed asthama several years ago, It has now been diagnosed as copd I have tried the antibiotic thing and as long as I am taking it the symtoms seem to go away, Prednizone eases it for a while, The V.A says there is "no connection" with asthama or copd and agent orange...What a joke...I have petioned my State senator and my congressman about this and am writing the President. Anyway good luck to you, I don't think many of us have much longer to put up with this, When we're all gone they will tell the truth..   Semper fi .
