Q: my daughter is 8 and is on 5 medications a day for allergies and asthma she gets a rash on her legs just before a serious attack. is this common?

Listed in this post are the common signs and symptoms of asthma to watch out for.  I also like to note that many asthmatics have signs and symptoms that are unique to them, and a rash may be unique to your daughter.

 

A rash may also be a sign that your daughter might be allergic to something.  Perhaps something she is exposed to just before her attacks is causing her rash and her asthma.  

 

Just a thought, and something perhaps to discuss with your child's pediatrician.
