does asthma cause snoring
Hi Stangboy,
Asthma doesn't cause snoring, but there are aspects about asthmatics that might contribute to ones snoring. First of all, let's look at snoring and what it is. Snoring is generally not caused by any serious medical condition, with the exception of the link between snoring and sleep apnea. Two common causes of snoring are nasal issues like colds or allergies and enlarged adenoids and tonsils which might block the airways. Each of these contribute to asthma conditions as well.
I hope this helps somewhat. Please stay in touch and let us know how you are doing!
