I have been suffering from joint soreness for the past few years. I do suffer from mild cerebral palsy, and at first I chalked up the symptoms to that, but now I am not so sure. IThe only visible symptoms of my CP are some facial twitches and constant mild shaking and involuntary movement that occur throughout the day. I have soreness and stiffness in all of my joints. My joints also pop constantly whenever I move. The popping is loud enough for others to hear it. When I open and close my fingers it sounds like my joints are rubbling together. I have also had mornings where Ill wake up and my shoulder will be frozen into place, it is very painful, and I can only relieve it by taking strong over the counter pain medication, its is the same with my hip. I am also very flexible, wich I find strange since I have the issues with stiffness in my joints. If I do high impact exersises for over a few days, it makes the symptoms worse. My doctor can find no reason for these symptoms, I have asked her if this is a possible issue for sufferers of CP as they get older, I am 25. She is a general practicioner, she said she did not know. I am somewhat worried by these symptoms, Has anyone ever heard of this? If so can you tell me what they mean, and if they are anything to worry about.
