Can an asthmatic child with a severe peanut allergy have albuterol?

Our friends 2 year old daughter has asthma and has been in our childrens hospital overnight numerous times. She unfortunatley also has a peanut allergy. I heard that if someone is allergic to peanuts, they shouldn't have albuterol.  Is this true?  If so, shouldn't the…
