Hi
I would like to know if there are any side effects when taking foracort 200 inhaler. My 5 year old daughter has been prescribed Foracort for 2 months.

Foracort is the generic form of Symbicort, and therefore has the same side effects as Symbicort. You can check out possible side effects by clicking this link here. Also, side effects of this medicine are rare if the medicine is used only as prescribed, and if you have your child rinse his mouth out really well after each use. Such witty answers to the querries are very helpful. I have also similar problem with my wife who is around 49 yrs and with the foracort inhaler, we are also prescribed panido - 40 and Alerfix (M) to be taken once a day in addition to the foracort inhaler. I am really worried because some say that once we are with the inhaler, it has to be used life long. The problem with my wife is - alergic, joint pain cannot stretch fingers especially in the morning. She lost the nose sence of smell, hence there is also a gradual loss to taste. I am at loss. Can any one sugest for any full medical treatment. I am thingking of taking her to Appolo, Madras. Any kind hearted please advice us.
