My husband has asthma due to being allergic to animals. He also loves animals and we have an indoor cat and it is not an option to remove the cat! My husband uses Advair twice a day and his inhaler as needed. The past few days his asthma has been much worse than ever before, and he cannot seem to get it under control, causing loss of breath, loss of sleep, stress, fatique, etc. Would you recommend having some type of oxygen supply in the house as well? We are also shopping for an air purifier. Can you recommend the best air purifier for asthma related to cat allergies and for a bedroom? Thank you.

Some medications work and some dont for some poeple. Advair actually made me have asthma attacks so I had to find another medication. Have him talk with his doctor and see if you can get different samples so you don't have to spend much money to find one that works for him.
