Q: Where should I live if I do have asthma?

I didn't have asthma when I was younger. I got in in high school when I did track. I love to run! When I'm sick my asthma acts up pretty bad and I have a cough for a very long time. Where would be in the best place for me to live? Would Jamaica be good place to live?

According to the latest asthma research there is not added benefit to the location where you live.  Most asthma experts believe that asthma can be controlled by working with your doctor on finding a good asthma regime, creating an asthma action plan, and avoiding your asthma triggers.

What about people with COPD? Aren't certain climates more beneficial to them? For instance, humid and cold weather, the two extremes make it difficult to breathe. Wouldn't an area that has a more temperate climate year round be better suited for these individuals?
