Knowledge is power!   However, we are not able to give you a diagnosis over the Intenet. That requires a physical examination, knowledge of your medical history and possibly testing. I'd encourage you to see a doctor, possibly a respiratory specialist such as a pulmonologist, for an evaluation and diagnosis. It might be that once your pneumonia clears up, your respiratory symptoms will go away. But with your family history of asthma, you are definitely at risk for getting it yourself, so get it checked out, OK?   To your health, Kathi
