Monday, March 16, 2009 VNL asks

Q: is it asthama???

am facing slight breathing problem from the past one week... could i know wheather it is asthama or not?????... but am not having other problems like cough,cold,wheezing etc... 

one more thing, no one in my family have asthama...

I'm not sure what you mean by "slight breathing problem", but in any case, breathing symptoms can be caused by a wide variety of symptoms. It's true that asthma usually causes 4 main symptoms: shortness of breath, wheezing, chest tightness and coughing, but those are not unique symptoms either.

 

I would advise you to call your doctor who knows you to be evaluated. Finding out what is wrong... if anything... is the best way to get on the road to feeling better.
